Week 3 Summary

Another good week for the field. Only 5 were knocked out of contention for first place. This looked like a very tough week going in, but the favorites prevailed.

Last year's co-champion Tim Swigor lost on one of his entries. He took BUF, as did Greg Brent, Renee Setta, and my sister-in-law Gaile Valcho. Jeff Cookson had AZ and he got beat by STL. Interesting-ly AZ had the ball on a fumble recovery in field goal range, with only a minute left, and fumbled it back to STL. AZ lost by 2.

Another heart stopper was CLE and BAL. BAL won 15-14 on a last second field goal from 52 yards. I know CLE fans were heart-broken, but so were the 50 entries that did not have BAL.

One entry is completely out, losing in WK1 and again in WK3 with NE. How can NE lose at home to DEN? It looks like the glory days for the Pats are over. Unfortuantely, the loser was ME! Oh well, at least I'm still alive with pick #2.
