Week 8 Summary

Choosing a bad team on the road is never a good idea in King of the Hill. This was proven once again when PIT lost to OAK on the road in Week 8. The Steelers, my favorite team (full disclosure), played awful once again and looked nothing like last year's Super Bowl Champions. Big Ben is unquestionably feeling the effects of the Motorcycle Accident, Appendicitis, and the Concussion. Meanwhile, Bill Cowher is coaching like it's his last year. Six people risked their entry on the Steelers and came up empty.

Here's an incredible stat, the Steelers had 376 yards of total offense and the Raiders had 98 yards of offense and still won. At 2 and 5 the Steelers need a winning streak and fast. Otherwise, just wait until last year! Yeah, last year is going to hold me over for a while.

One entry selected another bad team on the road, choosing HOU to beat TEN. Needless to say... they're GONE!

Dropping completely out this week previous champion Ralph Berry,Louie Fetch, Scott Covert, and my Dad on one entry. Thanks for playing!

Dropping into the losers bracket Brian Fetch, Kathy Kourkoulos and Paul Kourkoulos.

Counts:

9 still alive for first (9 entries representing 8 people)
35 still alive with one loss
17 out

Picks are due Sunday at 11:30.
